Rappleyea's
Nursery maintains greenhouses and
holding yards for over 10,000 plants, trees and evergreens. Inventory for this
material changes on a constant basis. Please call for current availability and pricing,
which are subject to change daily.
Prices in the catalog represent B&B
Field availability only and are quoted F.O.B. Chesterfield, NJ. Prices are subject to
change without notice. Pricing is based on material being dug at the time of order and
loaded directly on the customer's truck or our delivery truck from the field. A 25%
deposit is required on all orders. We will accept Visa,Master Card, American Express and
Discover.
All orders are C.O.D. unless terms have been
established.
Established accounts are payable net 30
days. Accounts over forty-five(45) days past due will resume a C.O.D. status on all future
orders.
There is a $35.00 Bank Service Fee on all
returned checks. No exceptions!
All summer digging orders will incur a 25%
additional charge. In ground prices for plant material over 5" caliper- deduct 25%.
Park grade trees may
be discounted from 20% to 50%. This park grade determination, and corresponding discount,
is determined by the sole discretion of Rappleyea's Nursery management.
Discount Schedule:
The following price discounts are for pre-paid orders only. Discounts only apply to
nursery stock grown by Rappleyea's Nursery. The discounts do not apply to any purchases
made from our B&B and Container Holding yards. Discounts are subject to change without
notice and cannot be combined with any other discount plan or special offers.
Orders of:
$10,000 to $20,000........5%
$20,000 to $30,000........8%
$30,000 to $40.000........10%
$40,000 and over ..........12%
Rappleyea's Nursery is responsible for
collecting 6% New Jersey Sales Tax on all nursery stock sold, unless proper documentation
is provided prior to sale. All NJ base business
customers must pay 6% sales tax on all material, unless they supply a New Jersey Tax
Exempt Certificate issued by New Jersey when placing order.
Reappleyea's
Nursery gives no warranty, expressed or implied, on its plant material. Acceptance of our
nursery stock at time of sale is considered to be proof of good health and survivability
of these plants. Plants become your property upon delivery to transportation company
arranged by Rappleyea's Nursery or by customer. We cannot be responsible for loss, damage
or delay in transit. Claims for shortages, damages or other deficiencies must be noted on
the shipping invoice at the time of delivery and c0-signed by the driver. Plants listed,
as fall digging hazards will be dug in the fall; however, survivability cannot be
guaranteed. Under no circumstances shall Rappleyea's Nursery be liable for a sum greater
than the purchase price of the nursery stock.
Normal nursery
hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-3:00pm. Loading on Saturday in the spring and fall
can be arranged from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
Delivery:
Material can be delivered to your yard or jobsite. Freight charges are extra and are
payable when material is delivered. Please have the necessary equipment and personnel
available to unload your order. Drivers are not required to help unload. After 2 hours an
additional $50.00 per hour freight charge will be assessed, Delivery notification alone
with a copy of the shipping is made via fax the day prior to shipment. This allows us to
confirm the delivery date and time, freight charge and terms of payment. Signing and
return faxing of this notification to Rappleyea's Nursery along with directions and
special instructions enables us to serve you better.
